The mission of Edscape Consulting is to provide evaluation and research skills to initiatives that can improve the life chances of children, families and communities in the US and abroad.

"Edscape" refers to a broad education landscape - including schools, programs and beyond - where learning for improvement is a priority. It incorporates diverse values, behaviors, attitudes, languages, and cultural contexts.

Janet has over 15 years of experience in evaluation and research in the US and abroad working with innovative programs for urban youth, immigrants, teachers and health providers focusing on STEM, STEAM, college access and equity in education. Previously, Janet worked in high school and multi-lingual adult education classrooms, the tech sector, higher education, and the US Peace Corps. ​She is a founding member and Advisory Board Member of Greater Boston Evaluation Network (GBEN).
